BioWare / Pandemic Studios BioWare/Pandemic Studios is a creative and management alliance between BioWare Corp. and Pandemic Studios, LLC, two leading independent video game developers. On November 3, 2005, Elevation announced it would invest over $300 million in the companies, creating one of the world’s best-funded and largest independent game development houses.
In October 2007, Electronic Arts entered into an agreement with Elevation Partners to acquire VG Holding Corp. -- the owner of both BioWare Corp. and Pandemic Studios. The transaction closed in January 2008.
